SpainxReader: At the Fair 2

Antonio and I arrived at the fair not to long after we left and I pressed my hands to the window in excitement. I started jumping in my seat and pulling on Antonio's arm sleeve everytime we passed by a large ride I could see over everything else.

He laughed and pat me on the head whilst keeping his eyes ahead of him so he doesn't hit anyone. "You're so linda _____~." I smiled brightly at the compliment as my cheeks flared hot. We parked somewhere close and I nearly stumbled out of the car when I tried to climb out. "Calm down! The fair isn't going anywhere you know." Antonio grinned and stepped out from his side. He locked his car and we started walking towards the entrance. I felt something brush my hand and I looked down to see Antonio's hand right next to mine as we were walking. I gazed back up at him and he seemed to be looking away. Was he trying to hold my hand? I hesitated, thinking he might pull away, but took his hand in mine. His head perked up and then quickly looked down at our intertwined hands. I noticed his face grow slightly red and I giggled.

"Who looks like a tomato now?" I teased.

His cheek puffed out in a slight pout, but he chuckled nontheless. "Si. I guess you're right."

We talked together up to the front entrance and payed for a bracelet that lets us go on unlimited rides. With our hands still held together, I started to pull him to the many different rides. First one was a large rollercoaster.

"C'mon c'mon! Let's go on that one!" I pointed up at it and Antonio raised his hand over his eyes to block out the sun and get a better look at it. It was one of those old fashioned wooden rollercoasters, but it was very large.

"Alrighty~! Let's go!" The two of us ran to the line that, suprisingly, was very short. We waited until it was our turn and sat in a cart together. I pulled down my seatbelt and waited for Antonio to do the same before I pulled the metal bar down.

"Everyone! PLease keep your belongings in your pockets and do not have your arms out of the cart at any time. Sit back and enjoy the ride." An announcer came on an intercom and explained to us. After the announcement was done, the ride lurched forward with a heavy thunk. Being a typical rollercoaster, we automatically came to a hill and slowly began advancing up it. I wiggled in my seat and smiled widely at Antonio who smiled back. When we got to the top of the hill we stopped for a few moments. They felt like minutes. And then suddenly, we went down quickly and I screamed at the top of my lungs from the excitement. I heard Antonio shout out next to me and I laughed. We made twists, harsh turns that squished us together, loop-de-loops, all sorts of things! It was so fun! It was even more fun since I get to spend the moments with Antonio..

We exited the ride and I threw my hands up in the air and cheered. "That was so /awesome/! We're definately going on that again later!"

Anotnio nodded his head and laughed, placing a hand on my head. "Si si. We will. /Later/. I get to choose the ride now~!"

"That's fine. We'll just take turns~!"

He grabbed my hand again and started pulling me onto another ride not to far from the rollercoaster. We kept this up for a few hours. He chose a ride, then I did, then he did, etc. We kept up this process until we went on almost every single ride in the whole park. Currently, the two of us decided to take a break and get something to eat.

"Wow! Who knew they had churros here, si? Dios mio, they are soooo good~!" Antonio gushed and stuffed his mouth with the tasty treats.

I have already finished my food and so I was just laughing at his antics and childish nature when it comes to him eating churros.

"Hey. Are you almost done? We still need to go on one more ride before we go."

"Eh? What ride?"

"The ferris wheel of course!"

"....I thought you hated heights."

I paused and blinked at him several times. It was true. I am afraid of heights, but the thought of him being there with me made my fear slowly deteriate away.

"I-I am. Just...the thought of being able to see all of the lights and beautiful sights from up there helps a bit." I lied to him and nervously smiled.

Well, Antonio isn't exactly the best at reading people so he just smiled and shrugged. "Oh okay~! Let's go then!" He shoveled the last two churros in his mouth and stood up. I did as well and we raced to the ferris wheel. Of course, with him being more athletic than me, he won that race and started teasing me about how he's better. I giggled and hit him on the shoulder.

"Next." It was our turn to get on the ferris wheel and we held out our bracelets. The person let us on and we shared one of those cup things by ourselves. When the machine started moving, I jumped a little in place and nervously looked down. My eyes widened a little when I saw how high up we were going. A small whimper escaped past my lips and I scooted away from the edge until I bumped into Antonio.

"_____? ¿Que pasa?"

"A-Ah. Y-Yeah. I'm fine..." I squeaked out. His hand wrapped around my shoulder and pulled me closer to his body. I let out a content sigh and I pulled my knees up to my chest.

"If you were scared to be up here, you should've just told me, amor."

I looked away and held my knees tighter. "I just...I wanted to spend this time with you Toni..." I mumbled under my breath and he didn't seem to have heard it.

"What was that?"

"N-Nothi--."

Our car thing started to shake, along with everyone elses, when the machine gave a violent jerk. I gave a small yelp and clung to Antonio's shirt.

"Everyone! Remain calm! The ferris wheel is experiencing some technical difficulties and will be working again momentarily!" I heard someone announce using a megaphone from the ground. It sounded...really far. I hesistantly pulled away from Antonio to look over the edge for a spilt second and I gasped. We're at the top!? I took a deep breath and quickly cuddled up to Antonio again.

"W-W're at the freaking top..." I whimpered.

"Shh~. We'll be okay _____. They'll get it working again in no time, si? Just relax..." His gentle tone seemed to have soothed me a little bit, but the thought of still being so high up in the air prevented me from relaxing as much as I wanted to.

"I...I can't Toni." He ran his fingers through my hair and comfortingly patted my shoulder.

"You'll be fine _____~." I turned my head to look at him and he was smiling happily. I glaced back down at the floor and refused to look back up. It was silent for a while between us. Until Antonio spoke up.

"Hey. _____? Don't--Don't hate me for this, si?"

My head perked up and I looked at him with confusion. "Hate you? Why would I--?" My sentence got cut off when Antonio pressed his lips onto mine in a gentle kiss. I sat there, in shock, that he even kissed me in the first place. After a while, I closed my eyes and melted into it. My arms practically moved on their own and wrapped themselves around his neck to pull him closer. The kiss grew more passionate and his hands traveled down to my waist. A few moments later we pulled away and just sat there, staring at each other. Neither of us could seem to find the right words, so we just pulled each other close again for another kiss. This one was more brief though. He pulled back first and placed one of his hands on my cheek. His smile seemed to have been bigger than I've ever seen it. He started to laugh heartedly and he brought me to his chest in a tight hug.

"I'm...I'm so happy right now _____! You have no idea how gald I am that you kissed back.." He spoke into the top of my head and nuzzled my (h/c) locks.

"W-Well..." I backed up a little from the embrace and kissed him on the cheek. "...I-I...I love you Toni."

He gasped softly and grabbed my hands in his, intertwining our fingers. "Te amo. Te amo, te amo, te amo~!"

We kissed once more, but was interuppted when another violent jerk moved us. We gradually began to move again and I giggled. My head rested against his chest and his arm held me close. A sudden thought popped into my head.

Damn it...
