A few tears ran down my cheeks as the thought of my friends being left behind clouded my mind. My parents recently got a job, very far away, so now I have to move. To Canada. Canada of all places! I mean
couldn't my parents just be normal and just find another job in the US of A like /most/ people do?
"_____! Are you ready yet, cher~?" My father poked his head in my room, his long blonde hair flowing beautifully as usual.
I swear I think he steals my shampoo.
"Y-Yeah Papa. I'm
I'm almost done." I sighed sadly as reached up to wipe away my tears from my face. My hands wrapped around the last thing I need to pack. A large polar bear that my mom gave to me along time ago. When I was about 5 years old.
I heard Papa take a deep breath and step into the room, bringing me into his chest for a hug. My arms hung limply at my sides since I was to upset to hug him back. I really don't want to move
A kiss was planted on my head and he placed his hands on my face, forcing me to look him in the eye.
"_____. I know that you're upset about leaving, but we don't have choice.."
I widened my eyes and my sadness quickly shifted into full blown anger, but I bit my tongue in fear of my mom hearing me. Instead, I pushed Papa away and turned my bak to him, folding my arms over my chest.
"Bébé, I'm sorry. But--"
I cut him off. I spun around on my heel and shoved my finger under his nose, an angry look in my (e/c) eyes.
"Don't you say you're sorry Papa! I know you're not and you /do/ have a choice! But you obviously hate me so you decided to move somewhere far away from my friends!" I shouted loudly at him and a few more tears escaped my eyes. My mouth opened to yell at him some more, but my mom was standing in the doorway. Green eyes pierced in my own and I quickly shut up.
"Arthur! Help me~!" Papa shouted helplessly and ran behind my mom, cowering like he usually does. Not that he's scared, but he doesn't want to be in a situation where his face would be in danger.
"Why are you yelling, ______?" My 'mother' crossed his arms over his chest and scowled at me, obviously waiting for an answer. I glared back at him for a moment until I looked away and stared at the floor.
"I don't want to move.." I muttered under my breath.
Mama still managed to hear me and he shoved Papa away with a harsh shove, making his way over to me.
"I know, love. I don't want to leave either
My head snapped up to see Mama's expression looking completely changed. His eyes were softer and a somewhat sad smile was on his face. He lifted his hand and pushed my (h/c) bangs away from my face to get a better look at my eyes.
"But we have to. The jobs around here do not pay us well enough to stay. I know it's hard to leave the people you love, but it happens. But I promise you
we'll come back to visit your friends next summer. Okay?" Mama smiled happily at me and ruffled my hair after kissing my temple.
"Just finish packing, call your friends, and we'll be on our way."
I felt as if my words were choked up in my throat, so all I could manage to do was nod meekly and wrap my arms around my Mama's torso.
"I love you Mama.."
"I love you too. Now hurry up. Your stupid father and I will be waiting downstairs alright?"
"Good." With that, he spun on his heel and made his way back to Papa. I could hear them talking as they headed back downstairs. "You really suck at handling our child."
"Ohonhonhon~. I suck at something else as well, non?"
"B-B-Bloody frog! Don't be saying that so bluntly, damn it!" A heavy blush made it's way up to my face and I tried to drown out the rest of the conversation before I heard something that might scar me for life. Because having Francis as a Papa is scarring /enough/ for my poor ears. I shook my head and went back to my task of finishing up my packing. My white polar bear was still on my bed, so I grabbed it once more and hugged it close to my chest for comfort. The bear has been my best friend, besides my actual people best friends, for as long as I had him. I told him everything! Despite him not being real, he listened to me about my problems and it felt good to vent out. A smile made its way onto my face and I picked up my backpack from the floor by my feet. I pushed my bear into my bag and zipped it up until only his head was poking out. Sure if looked childish, but I don't care. The trolley thing that my Papa brought up was by the door and I stacked up a few boxes on it. After making my way downstairs--it's a miracle that I didn't fall down the stairs--and bringing all of my stuff down, Mama and Papa helped me move them into the back of the truck.
"You should call your friends, cher. Before we leave." Papa reminded me as he pushed a box into the moving truck in front of our home.
"Oh! Right~. Merci Papa." I took a few French classes since my Papa was French, and it really makes Mama really mad since Papa and I would have whole conversations in French. So we did it even more.
My phone was pulled out of my pocket and I called the first friend that came to mind. When I pressed call and held it up to my ear, it only took 2 rings until they answered.
"Hello? Hero speaking!"
"Eh? _____? Something wrong, dudette?" Alfred was the first friend I made in school since I was bullied a lot by being the 'new girl'. He declared him the hero and stepped in to help me, saying that he'll be my friend. And our friendship took off from there.
"Um, yeah. Today's the day you know.." I bit my lip as I waited for an answer from him. He knew exactly was I talking about so didn't really need to say anything else.
" Alfred sounded very upset, something I wasn't used to, and he let out a sigh. "How soon though?"
I looked around at the yard that was filled with boxes and furniture. My (e/c) orbs tried to calculate the time it would take to load everything up and I brightened up just a little. "About an hour?"
Alfred's attitude seemed to brighten up as well and he shouted into the phone. "Hell yeah! I'll be over there with our group!" Without me even getting a word in, he hung up the phone.
" I chuckled lightly to myself and put my phone back in my pocket.
"_____, what happened?" Mama asked as she handed a box to one of the moving people. His caterpil--I-I mean eyebrows--were raised in question and I smiled sheepishly.
"Oh, um, Al is coming over." His green eyes narrowed a bit and he frowned. Alfred and Mama always got into arguments, but I knew that they respected each other. As much either one don't want to admit it. Papa chimed in from behind Mama, a large grin on his face.
"Ah~! Little Alfred? Such a cutie that boy is. It's a wonder you two aren't datation." Papa snickered, but stopped once Mama whacked him on the head.
"Like hell I would allow my daughter to date that...American idiot!" ((A/N: That's a good song by the way. LALALA!))
A blush made it's way onto my cheeks and I shook my head, laughing a bit. "N-No! I don't even like him like that, Papa!"
My dad raised a golden brow, but shrugged it off and continued loading things in the truck. "Whatever you say, _____~. But is it only Al? Or most of your amis?"
A look of surprise was completely obvious from the expression I was showing. How did he know that?
"Weeeell..." I trailed off and clasped my hands behind my back, rocking on my heels innocently.
"Well what?" My Mama snapped. His hands were on his hips and the sound of his foot tapping echoed around outside.
"Alfred is coming over of course~. But he's bringing friends." Papa stated bluntly, not even bothering to look away from what he was doing. Mama frowned angrily and opened his mouth to say something, but was cut off by the sound of a radio blasting from our driveway.
I smiled happily and made my way over to the music's direction because I knew exactly who were sitting in that car.
As soon as the car turned off, and I stood by it with my hands on my hips, Alfred came bursting out the driver's seat.
"_____!" He shouted out and nearly tackled me onto the grass behind us from his signature bear hug.
"Haha, hey Alfred!" I hugged him back tightly and buried my nose into his shoulder.
"Oi! Don't hog her up, dummkoph!" Another voice came up from the car and I was suddenly pulled away from Alfred's arms and into another pair. These were a lot paler than the other's, but that just made him even more unique. Gilbert stuck his tongue out teasingly at him and snickered at Alfred's mock hurt expression.
"I could say the same to you Gil~." I let out a sigh since I already knew what was coming up. And I was right. Once again I pulled into the last guy that came along.
"Aw! That's the greeting I get? Not fair." He stuck his bottom out in a small pout, but that only made me laugh.
"I'm sorry. I'm just over-joyed that you guys showed up before I left.." I pushed Mathias away and I stood in front of them. 'The Awesome Trio' they called themselves. Well, Gilbert came up with the name and the other two just agreed with it.
"Hell ja we came to visit! You're our awesome freund, _____~!"
"No problem~. Now let's go to McDonalds and get--!!"
"NO!" Gilbert, Mathias, and I all shouted out to cut Alfred off before he could finish his sentence.
My only American friend let out a heavy sigh and slumped his shoulders forward, whining childishly. Gilbert threw an arm around my shoulder and started to pull me to the car they drove up in.
"_____! You better be back here by the hour!" My mother shouted out from the front door with dad's hands around his waist.
"I will!" I smiled happily at him before blushing and quickly turning my head. Papa laughed pervertedly and quite literally dragged my mom back into the house while the moving men snickered amongst themselves. "Oh man.."
"Your parents are getting it on while you're away? Kesese~. Awesome!"
"What?! That's not awesome! It's...weird.." I rolled my eyes and climbed into the backseat with Mathias as Gilbert took the passenger seat next to Alfred.
"Alright dudes and dudette! Since we can't go to McDonalds, I have a great place we can go!"
"Oh really? Where?" Mathias piped up.
